Milag und Marlag Nord today.
Nothing of the camp remains today. The area has been returned to nature and tress planted. Residents of Westertimke use the area as a recreational park. Where the entrance to the Milag was, there now stands a railed in memorial stone and garden which is cared for by local people. A commemoration ceremony is held every year on the liberation date.
The old village of Westertimke can still be seen, with its red bricked roadways and pavements and farmhouses. It has been sympathetically assimilated into the new town.
